Youth Programs

Both our youth programs below begin Sunday, December 11, 2011.

  • The programs are designed to help young kids with novice to intermediate skills learn the fundamentals of cross-country skiing in a fun and social environment.
  • As an incentive for coaching, current coaches will be reimbursed for their childrenŐs bunny or jackrabbit fees.
  • Program fees do not include trail passes. A valid WOP trail pass is required for all skiers. Visit the Whistler Olympic Park website for info on trail passes.

Bunnyrabbit Cross-Country Skiing

  • Ages 4 - 5
  • Sundays 10:30 - 11:45 am
  • Fee $60
  • Club Membership is required
  • Parent participation is a pre-requisite.

Jackrabbit Cross-Country Skiing

  • Ages 6 - 12
  • Sundays 10:30 - 12:00 pm
  • Fee $80
  • Club Membership is required
  • Activities include a variety of cross-country skill development; classic and skating technique, games, terrain park, and winter safety skills.

Please go to zone4.ca to sign up for either of the above programs. Payment can be made on-line by credit card or by cheque mailed to the club. On-line payment is preferred.

Please visit the MEMBERSHIP page for more information on club membership which is required for participation in all the programs.

Pre-requistite: Parents who are not coaches will be requested to assist the program for one session (such as setting up food and drinks)
